Colostrum is the first secretion produced by all mammals for the feeding of their newborns. Mothers produce colostrum because it is rich in immunity-enhancing components that help protect newborns from bacteria, viruses and other pathogens. Colostrum is only produced by the mammary glands for the first 48 to 60 hours following delivery. Rich in growth factors such as IGF-1 (Insulin Growth Factor-1), colostrum stimulates growth and repair of the gastrointestinal tract*.
Colostrum has been shown in clinical studies to support immune and GI functions.* The formula has been improved with the addition of lactoferrin, beta-glucan, selenium, and Lactobacillus rhamnosus lysate.
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, 3 tablets one or two times daily on an empty stomach, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
